The GraserWARE PadEscClineWidth app automatically changes the cline width to the pad’s width if the minimum line width constraint is wider than the pad.
The GraserWARE PadEscClineWidth app helps avoid short-circuits and poor component welding when routing traces in Allegro®.
If the minimum line width constraint setting for the net is wider than the pad, the cline escape from the pad may cause a short-circuit with the pad, or the pad copper being wider may cause poor welding of the component. In order to eliminate these problems, the cline width must be changed. The GraserWARE PadEscClineWidth app will automatically change the cline width to the pad’s width to prevent these problems. After the cline moves away from obstructions, it can return to the originally specified line width.
