Inventor software helps users realize the benefits of Digital Prototyping by providing direct read and write of native DWG™ files, so there is no risk of inaccurate translations. Open any DWG files directly inside the software, copy and paste profile geometry into a 2D sketch to quickly create new 3D geometry, and quickly open a DWG file to copy geometry into a sketch in order to build a 3D part
